What started as a funky fantasy for Fuel TV evolved into a short film that has garnered several accolades for it’s mysterious portrayal of the origins of skateboarding.

We first called fellow creative director and skate legend Dave Hackett and introduced the idea. He was not only receptive but demanded that we immediately call Steve Olson and Duane Peters to get in on the act. When we wrapped our first shoot with those 3 guys we knew we had something bigger than the originally intended 3 minute short. The adventure gained momentum with the addition of each cast member including Tony Alva, Jay Adams and Stacy Peralta.

Shooting with once childhood heroes was pretty surreal!
